Rob has signed an international publishing deal with Warp Music Publishing, and to Ignition Records, for his debut solo project ‘Humanist’, due for release in late 2019.
After the incredible success of ‘Gargoyle’, Rob and Mark have been working on their second collaboration, another ‘Mark Lanegan Band’ Album ‘Somebody’s Knocking’, due for release on 18th October 2019 (Heavenly Recordings). Here’s a taster in the form of the b-side ‘Song To Manset’.
In the summer of 2016, after Mark Lanegan provided vocals for my forthcoming project 'Humanist', I started to write music for Mark Lanegan's new studio album 'Gargoyle'. A meeting of the minds with a most incredible artist, who I've respected for years - so a real privilege to work with. In the end I penned and provided instrumentation for 6 of the 10 tracks on the album, which I'm really proud of. The record is coming out on Heavenly on the 28th of April 2017.
