British guitarist, songwriter and producer Rob Marshall, is a musician driving towards an undeniably successful future in music.  Having performed in signed / cult bands for over 8 years (Exit Calm - AC30, Cooking Vinyl), Rob remained relatively unknown until 2016, when he began writing and producing for the iconic lyricist Mark Lanegan, resulting in their debut collaboration ‘Gargoyle’ - the 5 star LP released in 2017 (Heavenly). In the short time since, Rob has quickly developed a reputation as an other-worldly talent in music, immersing the listener straight into the tripped out, mesmerising world he creates.  Now signed to Warp Music Publishing, Rob unleashed his debut solo project 'Humanist' in 2021 (Ignition Records) - an album which showcased his distinctive writing, guitar work and productions, which are increasingly in demand with the elite of performers worldwide.

MARK LANEGAN BAND

After the incredible success of their 2017 collaboration ‘Gargoyle’, Mark Lanegan and Rob Marshall collaborated for the second time, with Rob having co-written and co-produced 6 tracks on Mark Lanegan’s LP ‘Somebody’s Knocking’, (Heavenly Recordings 18th October 2019). Rob and Mark were working on a third collaborative project when he sadly passed away.

Humanist is Rob Marshall’s debut solo project, released in February 2021 - an immense, highly original and groundbreaking debut, featuring the vocals of Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) Mark Lanegan (Queens Of The Stone Age), Joel Cadbury (UNKLE), Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) Jim Jones (Jim Jones Revue / Thee Hypnotics), Carl Hancock Rux (David Holmes) and Ron Sexsmith to name a few.
